I will be reading from my newly released book which was awarded the Willow Books 2018 Editor's Choice Poetry Prize. The reading, sponsored by my publisher in conjunction with the 2019 Associated Writing Programs Conference, will feature various authors from Willow Books, an imprint of Aquarius Press.

My new play explores the global oppression and resilience of women. In the tradition of Ntozake Shange's work, it is a choreopoem combining poetry with music and dance.

The show opens on April 26th in solidarity with Orange Day, the 25th of each month set aside by the United Nations Women's Campaign to end violence against women.

Featuring performances by Jasmine Minbashian, Kira Cramer, Carolyn Cilek, Imelda Cervantes de Barnard, and Nimmi Chandwaney.

Co-produced with Wellspring

This award-winning play is a dramatization

of the WWII experiences of conscientious-objector William Stafford, Japanese-American internee Lawson Inada, and Chicano Marine Guy Gabaldón. The play juxtaposes the history and perspectives of three World War II figures through a blend of poetry and monologue written in their own words.

Featuring performances by Damon Kupper, Paul Susi, and Anthony Green
